what a load of rubbish.

I can’t believe i’m saying this but in 41 years of supporting my beloved Liverpool, I have never been so angry and cheesed off with a poor, Crap performance, if you can call it that by a Liverpool team.

As an ex pro myself it makes me mad to watch a talented team play so RUBBISH.
For crying out loud sort it out Raffa, get it into your stupid head that rotation does not work. Listen to all the older Liverpool players that are ripping their hair out telling you this, bite the bullet and your daft tongue and sort it out NOW.
grrrrrrrrrrr i’m so ashamed and was glad that I was not there that night.
All I can end my rant with is well done Marseille…job done.

Always look on the bright side!! a wins a win…

Boy are we making hard work again this year…we have not lost a game but were dropping points against lowly outfits like Portsmouth and Birmingham.
If not for a bit of a Yossi wonder goal ( again ) we were looking at another boring draw against Wigan.

For **cks sake Raffa, sod the rotation and learn what our best 11 is stick by that and only change if injury occurs or a drastic change is needed.
This is what arsenal are now doing and yes ” hello ” who are top of the league….eeerm um, der!! think about it. NOW..
FACT
in the 70s with Shanks r.i.p x and after with Bob Paisley r.i.p. x when the team sheets were asked for for tv or radio…the only thing that was ever asked is…..get this

ANY CHANGES??? Nope the reply..logic say’s what we won then and what we have won in the past 15 years..say no more!!!!

like father like son…. MARCUS BIRD, here we go again!!!!

After a long football career which started the usual way, by playing for schools then on to our local rep’s side, then on to play for my county- then after being spotted by a scout, 5 years with Brighton and Hove Albion, then many county sides and local teams.
I found myself teaching football, becoming our local county rep’s manager, then managing Worthing Minors Youth F.C for many years with much success winning just about all there is to win, age and injuries caught up with me and it was time for Nik Bird to hang up his boots and time to develop my other love Golf!!

Along comes a son Marcus Bird….

full of talent and at the age of 6 was playing up two age’s with littlehampton Colts, but then along came a scout!!! here we go again…and my lad found himself down at the training grounds of Portsmouth F.C!!!
Many ex pro’s I know say he’s a chip off the old block, but it’s his future and if it’s meant to be then so be it.
He is only 8 but his idle is Stevie Gerrard, wears no 8 and already looks like a mini version..good luck son.

Here are a few pictures of Marcus in action, Poor lad has inherited my goal scoring celebration as you can see as he turns after scoring a screamer in a recent match..
